Overview

About ANA Wings

ANA Wings is a commuter and regional airline of the ANA Group, established in 2010 through the merger of the former Air Next and the former ANA Wings (formerly Air Next / Air Next Co., Ltd.). With Tokyo Haneda Airport as its primary base, it handles regional routes across the whole of Japan. A defining feature is its two-track fleet configuration — the DHC-8-Q400 covering local routes and the B737-700/800 supplementing trunk-line services.

As a member of the ANA Group, it supports the domestic regional route network while maintaining Star Alliance service standards. A variety of career paths are available, including transfers from mainline ANA and in-house pilot training (self-sponsored cadet program), making it a regional carrier that serves as a stepping stone for career advancement within the ANA Group.

Routes & Fleet

Routes

ANA Wings runs a two-track network from its Haneda base. The DHC-8-Q400 (roughly 80-seat turboprop) covers local routes into smaller regional airports — for example Haneda to Tajima and Oki, and Itami/Chubu to Izumo, Hagi-Iwami and similar destinations — as well as point-to-point regional services that meet demand as an alternative to the Shinkansen, all operated efficiently with the turboprop. The B737-700/800 supplements trunk routes such as Haneda to Okinawa and Hokkaido, flying as ANA codeshare services. Pilots can qualify on both jet and propeller types and build flying experience across a diverse mix of routes and equipment covering both regional and trunk operations.

Fleet

DHC-8-Q400 (about 80-seat turboprop) for local routes and B737-700/800 jets supplementing trunk routes; based at the Haneda (HND) hub with a nationwide network spanning both regional and trunk services.
