EgyptAir — Egypt's state-owned flag carrier and a member of Star Alliance.
Founded in 1932, EgyptAir is one of the oldest airlines in the world. From its hub in Cairo it serves Europe, Asia, Africa and North America, and it is a member of Star Alliance. Foreign pilots are typically engaged on USD-denominated contracts, while local crew are paid in a mix of EGP and USD.
