1Article 1 (Name and Scope)

These Terms set out the conditions of use of the "PILOT VALUE" service operated and administered by the PILOT VALUE Administration Office (hereinafter the "Office"), together with any services provided by the Office in connection with "PILOT VALUE" (hereinafter the "Service").

Any person who uses the Service (hereinafter a "User") shall be deemed to have agreed to all of the provisions of these Terms by virtue of using the Service.

Any rules, notices, guidelines and similar materials posted by the Office on the Service shall form an integral part of these Terms.

2Article 2 (User Registration and Verification)

A person wishing to register as a User shall apply for registration by the method prescribed by the Office.

In order to improve the reliability of the information provided, the Office may require Users to verify their credentials by means of an airman certificate or other proof of qualification. Any documentation submitted will be handled with strict care in accordance with the Office's Privacy Policy.

If any registered information changes, the User shall promptly complete the change procedure on the Service.

Where a User breaches these Terms, or where the Office determines a User's conduct to be inappropriate, the Office may suspend or delete that User's account without prior notice.

3Article 3 (Posting Company Assessment Reports)

Users shall post reports in good faith, based on their own first-hand experience as a pilot.

When posting, please observe the following.

  1. Each report answer must be 300 characters or more (except where the Office prescribes otherwise).
  2. The content must not infringe the copyright, reputation, privacy or other rights of any third party.
  3. Content must not be copied and pasted from other websites, message boards, books or similar sources.

The Office reviews the content of submitted reports and may, without prior notice, withhold publication of, delete, or partially amend any report it determines to be inappropriate.

Copyright in a submitted report remains with the User; however, the Office may use it free of charge and without restriction as to territory or period (including reproduction, adaptation and public transmission) for purposes such as operating and promoting the Service and creating and selling statistical data. Users shall not exercise their moral rights as authors against such use.

4Article 4 (Fees and Paid Services)

The Office may provide paid services within the Service, or may make part of the Service chargeable in the future.

The content of any paid service, its fees, payment methods and similar details shall be posted within the Service or at a location designated by the Office.

Where a User uses a paid service, the User shall pay the specified fee by the payment method prescribed by the Office.

5Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct)

In using the Service, Users must not engage in any of the following acts.

  1. Posting false or inaccurate information.
  2. Damaging the rights, reputation or privacy of other Users, third parties or any particular airline.
  3. Using the Service for commercial purposes, to obstruct the recruitment activities of a third party, or to improperly harvest information.
  4. Reproducing or disclosing to third parties any information from paid services or restricted content.
  5. Placing an excessive load on the network, systems or algorithms, or otherwise interfering with the operation of the Service.
  6. Acts contrary to public order and morals, or acts in violation of laws and regulations.
6Article 6 (Disclaimer)

Information published on the Service reflects the subjective views of the individuals who posted it, and the Office does not warrant its accuracy, currency or usefulness, nor does it guarantee employment with any particular airline.

The Office assumes no liability whatsoever for any damage arising from a User's use of the Service (including the outcome of a career move, disciplinary action by the User's own organization, computer virus infection, communication failures and the like).

The Office does not warrant the accuracy or safety of the content of any external site linked from the Service.

The Office may interrupt, suspend or terminate the Service without prior notice for reasons including system maintenance, inspection or disaster.

7Article 7 (Handling of Personal Information)

The handling of personal information obtained by the Office in connection with use of the Service shall be governed by the separately established "Privacy Policy".

8Article 8 (Ownership of Rights)

All intellectual property rights relating to the Service (including copyrights, trademark rights and rights in the systems) belong to the Office or to those who have licensed such rights to the Office.

9Article 9 (Compensation for Damages)

If a User breaches these Terms and thereby causes damage to the Office or to a third party, that User shall compensate for such damage at their own responsibility and expense.

10Article 10 (Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces)

Users represent and warrant that they are not, and will not in the future become, a member of an organized crime group or any other anti-social force. If it becomes clear that this is not the case, the Office may immediately suspend that User's use of the Service.

11Article 11 (Changes to These Terms)

The Office may amend these Terms without obtaining the consent of Users where it deems such amendment necessary. The amended Terms take effect from the time they are posted on the Service, and a User who uses the Service after the amendment shall be deemed to have agreed to it.

12Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

In the event of any dispute concerning the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance by agreement.
